It’s exactly one year since our official Charter arrived from Rotary GB&I – and what a year it has been!
Starting a new Club is never easy – there’s a lot to consider, a lot to work out, and a lot to plan. This year we have spent a lot of time discussing what we want to support, and what events we want to arrange. Here’s just some of what we’ve been up to:
- Marshalling support for events including the Race 4 Life, Cyclefest, Lantern Parade, Fireworks Display
- Attended and volunteered at the National Eisteddfod in Tregaron
- Working with Aberystwyth Rotary to arrange the Young Musician Competition in Aberystwyth
- Organising a charity fundraising Christmas concert at St Michael’s Church
2023 will be our second full year as a club, and we already have a growing annual calendar of events to support and organise.
